Margin is a share of the selling price, not a markup on cost. With cost 20, a fixed fee of 0.30, a 10% sales fee and 20% margin, the pre-tax price is 20.30 ÷ 0.70 = 29. Check rounding when setting your actual price.
A practical example
Use these sample inputs to check the calculation before entering your own values.

- 3.2

Why does it reject some margins?
The percentage fee and margin must total less than 100%. If they consume the entire price, nothing remains to cover costs. Taxes or expenses you have not entered as costs are not included.
