Text and document summary
Select key sentences from text, PDF or DOCX. No account required. Processing stays in your browser.
Use it to understand, then review
Extracted summaries retain source wording. Fill-in-the-blank questions hide a keyword in a source sentence; they do not verify facts. Concept diagrams show associations with the source, not proven causal links. Brainstorming uses prompts, not factual claims. Grouping and reading order may be imperfect in multi-column documents.
Get a useful result
The summary selects sentences from the content on your device; it does not consult an external AI or add researched information. Compare the selection against the document’s headings to spot omitted topics, especially when requesting few sentences.
A practical example
Paste three paragraphs of notes and select three items. Compare selected sentences with the original to check that context is preserved.
Can it summarize a scanned PDF directly?
A scan without selectable text needs OCR first. Review recognized text before summarizing it: recognition errors can also appear in selected sentences. A short summary does not replace the source when studying details.
