HOW IT WORKS

Unit price comparison

Find which pack offers the lower price per unit.

How the calculation works

Divide each price by its quantity. Percentage saving is measured against the higher unit price.

A practical example

500 g at 3 costs 0.006 per gram. 1000 g at 4.80 costs 0.0048 per gram: product B is 20% cheaper.

Important details

Use the same quantity unit for both products. This compares price, not quality, shelf life or waste.
